Laboratory experience includes sterile technique, microscopy, media preparation, and bacterial culturing. Prerequisite: MAT 121 or higher (grade C or higher); CHE 101 or CHE 111 (grade of C or higher); BIO 105 or BIO 111 (grade of C or higher).

4 Credit hours 90 Contact hours Focuses on an integrated study of the human body, including the histology, anatomy, and physiology of each system. Examines molecular, cellular, and tissue levels of organization plus integuments, skeletal, articulations, muscular, nervous, and endocrine systems. Includes a mandatory hands-on laboratory experience covering experimentation, microscopy, observations, and dissections. This is the first semester of a two-semester sequence.
