Laboratory experience includes sterile technique, microscopy, media preparation, and bacterial culturing. Prerequisite: MAT 121 or higher (grade C or higher); CHE 101 or CHE 111 (grade of C or higher); BIO 105 or BIO 111 (grade of C or higher).

Examines molecular, cellular, and tissue levels of organization plus integuments, skeletal, articulations, muscular, nervous, and endocrine systems. Includes a mandatory hands-on laboratory experience covering experimentation, microscopy, observations, and dissections. This is the first semester of a two-semester sequence.
