Part one pertains to mineral identification, igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks, the rock cycle, the earth's interior, land formation, theory of plate tectonics, formation of rivers and streams, the hydrologic cycle, and topographic maps. Part two gives an overview of weather and climate and how they relate to earth and its processes.
