The application of artistic concepts in the creation of an individual graphic work and thorough examination of course material in terms of style, design considerations and visual elements are the primary focus. Students will create images for a graphic novel, focusing on unity of style and techniques for creating images appropriate to story line using black and white or grayscale illustrations.
