The goals of the course are to study the role of cells and organs of immune system in health and disease. Topics covered will unclude but are not rrestricted to innate and adaptive immunity, molecular mechanisms of antibody diversity, major histocompatibility complex, complement system, immunodeficiency , allergies, immunology of cancer and organ transplantation. Recent developments in techniques and immunotherapies will also be discussed. The course will give the students theoretical and practical knowledge applicable to medical and other health related fields.
