A thirty (30) hour professional development course for teachers at Jamieson and Clinton Elementary School. Course will run for 4 weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Instructor will follow up course sessions with in class coaching for students as they apply content from lecture sessions in their respective classrooms. Classroom visits and products produced and used in classrooms will be used as part of the assessment plan for the course. The course is designed to introduce the basic elements of an office suite and apply it to instruction. The following subjects will be presented: Word-Processing and self created classroom materials, using spread sheets for classroom management and record keeping. Presentation Programs used in creating class based projects incorporating multi-media.
