Emphasis is placed upon developing technique, repertoire, and performance skills commensurate with the student's educational goals. Lessons are taught on a weekly basis - thirty minutes for each credit hour. Music majors should register for one hour of instruction, i.e. two credit hours. Students are required to practice a minimum of five hours per week for each credit hour.
