This course is the capstonefor the B.A. degree in art. Students will conducy research and write about art, and will prepare materials needed to pursue a professional career in the arts. The course aims to familiarize students with ongoing theoretical, methodological, and practical issues involved in art making and art historical scholarship. Will include visits to local art institutions, archives, and libraries and guest lectures by professionals in the field. Should be taken at the senior level.
