This internship is designed to provide students with valuable real-world service-learning experience with an SLHS community partner for preschool and/or school-age students for facilitation and support of communication strategies, social skill development, language/literacy enrichment, and/or use of augmentative and alternative communication. SLHS 322 Language Disorders and SLHS 427 Augmentative and Alternative Communication are prerequisites. Students must have a 3.0 minimum GPA. Permission is required to enroll. A passed background check is also required.
