This course will provide the student with the foundations of working with students with emotional impairments. It will cover the identification, etiology, diagnosis, characteristics, classifications of emotional impairment, including psychiatric terminology and researchbased models. Students will gain working knowledge of the various agencies involved with students with emotional impairment, the need to collaborate with parents and service providers and the need of integrating academic instruction and curriculum with affective educational strategies.     College: College of Technology Department: Mechanical Design Credit Hours: 3 This course has a lecture with 2 hours. This course has a lab with 3 hours. Comprehensive introductory course integrating three foundational engineering graphics elements: basic manual drafting, descriptive geometry, and computer aided drafting. Basic manual drafting offers exposure to topics used to create and read engineering drawings, including: lettering, line types, drafting instruments, geometric construction, pictorial representation, orthographic projection, auxiliary views, sectional views, dimensioning and tolerancing. Descriptive geometry involves solving complex true size and shape problems. Computer aided drafting includes creating drafting and design related geometry. Typically Offered Fall, Spring, Summer
