Individual body system changes will be reviewed, emphasizing how these changes relate to the slow or accelerated development of disorders in later life. This course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to learn the basics skills of care giving and the provision of a safe environment for older adults. Students will be introduced to a variety of skills to include older adult health assessment, planning, treatment, and multidisciplinary care services delivery to address medical, physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of patient care.
