A workshop for advanced fiction writers. Student writers will typically produce about 10,000 words and will present selections of their in-progress work an average of three times by the end of the semester. To become familiar with the current trends in fiction, students will develop a per- sonal reading list of current writers and fiction magazines. Stories will be submitted for punlication. Students may emphasize creative nonfiction writing with the instructor's permission. Prerequisite: ENGL 322, and 323.
