The course content is built on an assumed foundation of basic nursing preparation and clinical experience of the RN. Professional concepts are introduced to broaden career development. Preparation of a professional portfolio that serves as a basis for credit transfer of prior nursing education, experience and attainment of professional credentials is the primary course outcome.
