COMM 225: Interactive Design

The study of concepts and techniques using a variety of software programs in the design of websites and interactive multimedia. Projects include web layout and the development of interface and interaction design on the computer. Students develop skills with flowcharting, storyboarding, scripting, and interactive design basics such as: screen design, optimizing images, and working with color and type. Note: Credit will not be given for both this course and 71.225 Multimedia Design. Prerequisite: COMM 200 Introduction to Computer Graphic Design, or ARTS 361 Graphic Design I, or permission of the instructor.
