A full-semester field experience, this course requires that students apply academic theories to the professional work environment. The 14-week period is planned with and supervised by faculty and site supervisors. A biweekly, on campus supervision group provides the opportunity for students to reflect upon their experiences and learning. Students will be responsible for outside reading and writing assignments designed to integrate theory and practice. Prerequisites & Notes All course requirements of the freshman, sophomore, and junior years must be completed, or permission of instructor. Note: students completing a Distance Internship must have reliable internet access; they will be communicating with their instructors via Gull Net.
