3 Credits A survey of the psychological, physiological, and social development of humans, with emphasis on 'normal' growth. Students examine the various factors determining developmental tasks at stages throughout the life span. Life stages covered in the course extend from pre-natal to death as the final stage of development. Prerequisite: PSY 107. Course Offerings . This c urse examines the relati nship f the physical therapist assistant t the licensed physical therapist, and t ther members f the health care team. Lab rat ry exercises include instructi n in b dy mechanics, lifting techniques, basic patient care skills, and preparati n f patient and treatment areas. Prerequisite: Admissi n t PTA pr gram. C requisite: PTA 102, BI 201 and PHY 111.
