WEL 164: Pipe Welding I

This is an introductory course in carbon steel pipe welding. It provides the student with pipe fit-ups, taking techniques and welding procedures in the root pass with 6011 electrodes. The 7018 electrode will be used for fillers and cover passes. Prerequisite: WEL163 passed with a C or better.
