(Lecture-Practicum). Supervised self-directed study to increase knowledge and skills in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care. Prerequisites: 3070, 3080, 3490.

Introduction to theories, concepts, and technology application essential to identifying, collecting, processing, and managing data and information to support health care practice, administration, education, research and the expansion of knowledge within the evolving technologyrich health care environment. Prerequisite: Graduate standing or permission of instructor. Undergraduate: Completion of one clinical semester (basic computer skills beneficial, but not required).
