CIS 302: Problem Solving

A foundation course for high-level languages and systems analysis. Emphasis is placed upon Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the requirements for managerial problem solving and decision making using the computer in a business environment. Students will utilize the procedures for solving problems and making decisions through the development of program definition/description, data dictionary, algorithm, pseudocode, charts/diagrams, screen and file design, and test data which can be implemented in any high-level language. C++ will be used for the language implementation (programming).
