Overview of Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classic, Romantic, and Twentieth Century stylistic periods; elements of music (melody, rhythm, harmony, form, timbre); and instrument recognition. Performances are provided by university ensembles, faculty artists, and special guests. Limited to non-music majors.
