The effects of microeconomic decisions on public policy will also be discussed. Agriculture students may take AGR 213 instead.

Speed Reading is designed to provide students with practice in increasing their reading speed. In addition, computer programs focusing on appropriate eye movement and skimming/scanning techniques will be utilized. Study Skills is designed to provide the student with concepts and skills to help improve the effectiveness of their study habits. Specific topics include: textbook reading, note taking, test taking strategies, and time management. This course is offered in a contracted study format. Winning at Math is designed for anyone who has ever experienced math anxiety or been unsuccessful in mathematics courses. Specific topics include: understanding the special study requirements for mathematics, reducing math anxiety, and improving math test-taking skills.
