Nomenclature, synthesis, reactions of organic compounds. Reaction mechanisms, structural and theoretical concepts. Credit cannot be obtained in both CH 205 and CH 211-CH 212. Winter Term. Prerequisite: CH 211.

Fundamental and practical aspects of chemical analysis. Gravimetric and titrimetric analyses. Theory and applications of chemical equilibria, acid-base reaction chemistry, oxidationreaction chemistry. Electrochemical analysis, including potentiometry and electrogravimetry.
