3 Cr. Hrs This course is designed to enhance basic reading skills in order to accommodate college-level reading assignments. Particular attention is given to finding stated and implied main ideas as well as advancing critical reading skills. Students are not advised to take the next reading course in the sequence if course grade or outcomes assessment indicates a below-average achievement. Prerequisite: READ 015 or equivalent placement test score.
