This course is offered to students in the College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Natural Resource Management and College of Arts and Sciences. This is a Natural Science laboratory requirement. This course will address basic principles of agricultural waste management with special focus on the science and practice of composting and vermicomposting. The course will be presented in Spring 2010 and will involve two 50-minute lecture sessions by the Instructor and one 2.5-hour laboratory sessions weekly. Each of the laboratory session will involve short-term experiments and demonstrations that will apply theories discussed in lectures sessions or assigned readings.
