Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education (2.7 GPA and GACE I, Praxis I, or exemption scores) A study of learning principles, methods, strategies, and knowledge related to teaching business subjects. Students create and demonstrate well-planned, content-based lessons and educational experiences demonstrating planned, patterned behaviors as defi nite steps to infl uence learning. An analysis of research-based instruction is examined. Field experience and professional activities are required.

Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education (2.7 GPA and GACE I, Praxis I, or exemption scores) Students will teach for one semester in the public schools under the supervision of an experienced, qualifi ed classroom teacher and a university supervisor. The internship will be conducted on the grade level and in the fi eld required for certifi cation. Students will participate in scheduled seminars that are an integral part of the course.

Course is to be taken the fi rst semester of student teaching for a student with a provisional license. Students will teach in the public schools under the supervision of an experienced, qualifi ed classroom teacher and a university supervisor. The internship will be conducted on the grade level and in the fi eld for certifi cation. Students will participate in scheduled seminars that are an integral part of the course.

This course must be taken concurrently with the teaching internship. Students will participate in scheduled seminars that are an integral part of the course.

Prerequisite: ACCT 2102 An in-depth study of the accounting and reporting processes and accounting theory together with current problems in reporting fi nancial position and determining income. Includes study of valuation problems involving current assets; and property, plant, and equipment. APA Level I test fee is required.

Prerequisite: ACCT 2102 Cost Accounting principles and techniques applied to job order and process types of industry, planning and control of the elements of production costs, and preparation of cost reports. Includes an introduction to standard costing concepts and variance analysis. Use of cost information for business policy implementation and cost topics.
