This course gives students who have received credit for THE300 and THE301 additional experience in drama through participation in a theatrical production.

An introduction to university academics and university life including the knowledge and use of college facilities and services. Students will be introduced to administrators, faculty programs and services at Thomas University. Mandatory for all freshmen.

An in-depth-presentation of specific success strategies for college students: time management, goal-setting, memory, test-taking, note-taking, reading and writing tips, critical thinking and relationships. Mandatory for all students in developmental classes.

(Prerequisite course: UNV101) This course extends students' understanding of ethical behavior in the academic setting, introduces students to traditional frameworks for ethical decision-making, and promotes self-assessment of personal and professional values and their influence on ethical perspectives. This course will reinforce skills for understanding and succeeding in the culture of higher education.

This course combines classroom learning with practical application in the workplace. It is instructed bilingually, both in English and Chinese. Part 1: Career Management addresses topics about developing personal responsibility for success and versatility for adapting to changing forces in the workplace. Students will explore and discuss their personal strengths and strategies for career management. Part II: Practicum requires 160 hours of internship in work settings which give students the opportunity to "shadow" business people in professional roles, develop their skills by assisting in actual projects in the workplace, give back to the community through service learning, and experience diverse environments.

Asurvey of zoology with an evolutionary approach. Field trips will be included where needed. 3 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory.

Prerequisites: BIO202, CHM301. Astudy of the major processes relating to function of animals at both the cellular and organismic levels. Topics include the functions of the nervous, muscular, endocrine, excretory, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, and reproductive systems. Emphasis is given to vertebrate, particularly mammalian, systems but aspects of lower vertebrate and invertebrate physiology may be covered. 3 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory.

Prerequisite: ZOO201 or permission of instructor. Astudy of human systems, human ecology and evolution. 3 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory.
