    CREDITS: .10 This first level of WordPerfect is tailored to individuals with little or no computer experience. Students are taught basic DOS operations in order to use this popular word processing program. Lessons in word processing include creating, editing, printing, and saving documents. File management through WordPerfect is introduced, as is the use of the spell checker and theasaurus. Other subjects covered are formatting text, block operations, windows, search & replace, and outlining. Although there are no prerequisites for this course, a typing background is assumed. No textbook is required.
