The Cellular and Systems Disease States Module is a year long series of systems-based modules that is a microcosm of the Medical College of Georgia in its multifaceted approach to patient care. Armed with an in-depth understanding of normal human anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry from Phase 1 studies, students will begin learning the new language of disease. The vocabulary is expressed in words that describe the causes, consequences, and treatment of organ system dysfunction.
