Topics include: principles of quality control, TQM team building, project requirements, project implementation, concepts of statistical process control, and SPC applications.

Topics include: safety; surface preparation; sealants application; sealants shelf life; sealants cure times; and sealants removal.

Prerequisite: AST 104 Emphasizes the development of knowledge and skills necessary to assess damage due to corrosion and take corrective action. Topics include: safety, corrosion theory, corrosion types, corrosion removal and repair, corrosion treatment, and corrosion prevention.

Prerequisite: AST 104 Introduces the types of metals used in aircraft construction and provides a study of their properties and working characteristics. Topics include: safety, types of metals, properties of metals, methods of identification, heat treatments, temper designations, and working characteristics.

Prerequisites: AST 102, ENG 101 Continues the study of aircraft technical publications found in the manufacturing and repair process. Research skills necessary to locate information in technical publications will be emphasized. Topics include: document control numbers; technical publications; instructional repair manuals; aircraft transport association (ATA) codes; technical orders; tech order system, general; tech order, aircraft specific; and industrial specific manuals.

Prerequisite: Provisional admission Introduces basic concepts and practices necessary for safe and effective automotive shop operation. Topics include: safety procedures, legal/ethical responsibilities, measurement, machining, hand tools, and shop organization, management, and work flow systems.

Prerequisite: AUT 120 Introduces automotive electricity. Topics include: basic circuit construction, use of electrical measuring devices, function and operation of automotive electrical components, use of service publications, electrical diagnosis and repair, electronic controls systems, components and testing procedures, internal function of the microprocessor controller, and sensing and controlling devices.

Prerequisite: AUT 120 Emphasizes the basic principles, diagnosis, and service/repair of batteries, starting systems, starting system components, alternators, and regulators. Topics include: battery diagnosis and service; current and voltage tests; inspection, diagnostic testing and repair or replacement of regulator and alternator components and systems.
