Survey topics include a review of the fundamentals of mechanics, elastic behavior of materials, stress-strain relationships and measurements, elasticity theory, stability, dynamics, and vibration theory. Graduate students will be required to complete a case study or other individualized advanced activity that undergraduate students will not be required to complete.
