Theory-driven research focusing on the evaluation of outcomes applicable to nursing practice, and critical review of literature on evidence-based practice are included. Course is designed to prepare informed consumers of health care research and beginning nurse scientists. The importance of the advancement of nursing science and of the ethical conduct of nursing research are incorporated throughout the course. Prerequisite: A minimum grade of "C" in undergraduate statistics.
