Students will attend 2 distance learning training sessions, reside on the island for seven days to observe sea turtle nesting evidence, participate in sea turtle conservation activities, study barrier island natural history with lectures by leading scientists, and collect natural history specimens for their classrooms, and attend a follow-up meeting.
