Topics to be covered include composition of matter, stoichiometry, periodic relations, and nomenclature. High School Chemistry is required for this course. Students who have not taken Chemistry in High School, and who desire to take CHEM 1211, must first take and pass CHEM 1151 and CHEM 1151L.
