Techniques used in organic laboratories such as crystallization, distillation chromatography. Four hours laboratory. Natural science majors must co-enroll in CHM 2210/CHM 2210L. Principles and practice of quantitative analysis with emphasis on gravimetric and titrimetric methods. Three hours lecture, four hours laboratory. (A laboratory fee of $25 will be assessed.)

Prerequisites: CHM 2211, CHM 3120C The Inorganic Chemistry course provides coverage of topics including atomic orbitals, molecular orbital theory, nuclear properties, molecular symmetry, group theory, vibrational spectroscopy, valence bond theory, coordination chemistry, and ligand field stabilization energy.
