SYD 3800: CD - Gender and Society
3.00 Credits
University of North Florida
This course is designed to explore the social meanings and political implications of gender in society. The course will explore topics such as: gender and sex role socialization; gender relationships; cross-cultural gender comparisons; and the effects of "the sex-gender system" on areas such as health, family life, religion, employment, crime, education, politics, and social change.
