It focuses on concepts of gains and losses from property transactions, miscellaneous income items, tax computation, and credits. This course also introduces pass-through entities and their impact on individual taxation.

This course provides an overview of federal taxation of corporations. It examines the concepts of income deductions, property acquisitions and dispositions, and corporate operations. It also provides a study of flow-through entities, partnerships, and S-corporations and the state and locate taxes on these entities.

This course provides a presentation of current audit practices for audit decision making and evidence accumulation. This course emphasizes the understanding of the audit objectives, the audit risks, the audit decisions to be made, the appropriate audit evidence, and audit reports.

This course provides a comprehensive study of business combinations and the preparation of consolidated financial statements. In addition, it explores special problems such as international accounting issues, accounting for partnerships, and the financial reporting and disclosure requirements for governmental and not-for-profit entities.

This course introduces the BCCC Associate Degree Nursing curricular concepts with the three domains of health-illness-wellness professional nursing practice and the health care environment. Emphasis is placed on the knowledge, skills, and attitudes essential to each concept and their application to nursing roles in professional nursing practice.
Prerequisite:
MATH095 (C or better) or Math Placement Test Score of 5 or higher.

This course explores the concepts within health-illness-wellness, professional nursing practice, and the healthcare environment. It also integrates principles necessary to perform basic nursing skills in the adult patient and to demonstrate competence, caring, and advocacy nursing interventions. Knowledge, judgement, skills, and professional values in a legal/ethical framework are emphasized.
