Introduction to the inherent qualities of the medium. The course examines the formal qualities of color, light, space, form, composition and point of view, and the role they play in expressive intent. The course emphasizes developing perceptual vision. Six studio hours weekly and independent work. Prerequisite: FA103 or 104. Non-art majors do not need FA103 or 104.
