Includes content on identifying analyzing, and implementing empirically based interventions designed to achieve client goals, through the use of communication skills, supervision, and consultation. Emphasizes strengths, capacities, and resources of client systems, especially those populations at risk, in relation to their broader environments. Promotes strategies for effective practice with persons from diverse backgrounds and considers technological advances.
