Focuses on positive behavior supports and social-emotional learning for children ages birth to kindergarten, including those with disabilities or delays, with an emphasis on using techniques to decrease suspensions of young children. Focuses on relationship building, supportive environments, motivation and engagement tactics, prosocial behaviors, and prevent/teach/reinforce and crisis management approaches. Offered fall semester. Prerequisite: EDI 312. Corequisite: EDI 341, or EDI 441, or EDS 470.
