This course addresses the language and communication needs of students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Specific focus is placed on implementing language and communication interventions based on assessment data to improve the educational outcomes of students with ASD. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisites: Declaration of special education major and a B- or better required in the following courses: EDS 205, EDS 305, EDS 306, EDS 332, and PSY 440.
