Creative Writing

Description:
-
What does it mean to be creative today? Writers and artists increasingly publish/exhibit online; interaction with editors, publishers, agents and gallery owners/museum curators is performed in a variety of ways; writing itself has moved from pen and paper to computer, as has the visual art process; and the audience for the written and visual arts is as much online as it is in print, or perhaps in person. This course will examine how these changes have affected writing and visual art in the 21st century, for those who produce as well those who consume/experience it. Prerequisite: COM1.
