Expands on the fundamental laboratory techniques acquired in qualitative organic analysis. Crucial to any career in organic chemistry, students will perform multistep organic synthesis and incorporate NMR and GC-MS analysis techniques in identification of their products. 3 periods lab/week. If prerequisite courses are not met instructor approval is required.
