This course is intended for students interested in learning about music software applications. Topics include music notation, introduction to sequencing, introduction to recording and audio editing, and other MIDI applications. Primary software included for study: Finale & Muse Score (music notation), Garage Band & Reaper (music sequencing), and Audacity (Audio Editor and Recorder). Other similar software may also be examined. Also, the history of Music Technology will be discussed.
