This course is designed to prepare students for the Manufacturing Skill Standards Councils (MSSC) Maintenance Awareness Certification Assessment. The course curriculum is based upon federally-endorsed national standards for production workers. This course introduces the concepts of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and preventative maintenance. Students are introduced to lubrication, electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission systems.
