This course covers the basic theory, operation, and understanding of the four-stroke cycle diesel engine. The compression ignition engine principles and the engine's components will be covered, along with the disassembly, inspection, evaluation, reassembly. Base engine cooling, lubrication and low pressure fuel systems will also be covered. (Prerequisite(s): MHTT 1110 with a grade of "C" or better) 6C/2/4/0
