This course covers complex numbers, inequalities, rational expressions, exponents and radicals. Students develop skills in the solution of absolute value, quadratic and radical equations. Graphing and evaluation of functions are also covered. This course is not intended for transfer. This is a diploma level course. (Prerequisite: MATH 0599 and either College Level Writing or FYEX 1000; or Math Level 1 Placement; or College Level Algebra) (3 credits: 3 lecture/0 lab)
