This course continues studies of anatomy and physiology with a detailed study of fetal, pediatric and adult cardiac and vascular anatomy, embryology, cross-sectional anatomy, hemodynamics and physiology in relation to the field of cardiovascular sonography. This course provides the pharmacological background necessary to function within the clinical setting of the non-invasive cardiology lab. This course will introduce the concepts of electrophysiological principles and interpretation.
