This course will introduce students to electric vehicle battery components, and their operation, use of service manuals, proper tools, specific electric vehicle batteries in individual vehicles. Students will remove, inspect, and reinstall these components with the proper safety and initialization procedures. Specifically designed to provide the student the necessary skill and knowledge to function effectively in a modern automotive service department performing electric vehicle repair.
