University of Tampa Interdisciplinary Internships encourages students to seek out and initiate internship opportunities with local, regional, or national partners to solve real world problems. Students engaged in high-impact, multidisciplinary work with partners are eligible to earn Culminating Experience credit by completing a Culminating Experience project that draws upon their learning in the arts and humanities, the social sciences, and/or the natural sciences (at least two of the three). Students will benefit from parallel supervision by Faculty Internship coordinators. Interdisciplinary Internship students will gain experience in problem solving in diverse settings and from multiple disciplinary perspectives.
