Provides 180 hours of hands on experience that allows the integration of the learned concepts related to the field of sterile processing into real life practice. Students will participate in all areas of the sterile processing department including decontamination, instrument set preparation, sterilization, case cart preparation, technologies for storage and distribution, and quality control and monitoring processes.
