Students will complete a detailed review of cardiopulmonary disorders and disease pathology and the role of respiratory therapy in the management of these diseases. Students will correlate the diagnostic testing and treatment modalities of respiratory care to these disease processes. This will allow students to integrate respiratory assessment and treatment of the cardiopulmonary disease states as well as the physiologic response to cardiopulmonary diseases. This course is offered in the spring semester.
